Zusammenfassung

Trans,mer-[(P(CHMe2)3)2(CO)3Mo(m-pz)Mo(CO)3(P(CHMe2)3)2]+ (pz = pyrazine), the closest yet reported organometallic analog of the Creutz-Taube ion [(NH3)5Ru(m-pz)Ru(NH3)5]5+, was prepd. and characterized as a fully delocalized Mo0.5/Mo0.5 system by electrochem., EPR, electronic and vibrational absorption spectroscopy.
