Abstract

This dataset contains the measured rendering times (in milliseconds) for all tested GPUs in the paper "Efficient Sphere Rendering Revisited". The timings have been measured in the visualization software MegaMol on the following hardware: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X (12c @ 4.7GHz); 64GB DDR4 RAM (@1,333MHz); AMD Radeon PRO W6800 (22.Q4) 32GB. AMD Ryzen 9 5900X (12c @ 4.7GHz); 64GB DDR4 RAM (@1,333MHz); AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT (22.Q4) 16GB. AMD Ryzen 9 5900X (12c @ 4.7GHz); 64GB DDR4 RAM (@1,333MHz); NVIDIA Geforce RTX 3090 Ti (531.18) 24GB. AMD Ryzen 9 5900X (12c @ 4.7GHz); 64GB DDR4 RAM (@1,333MHz); NVIDIA Geforce RTX 4090 (531.18) 24GB. AMD Ryzen 9 5900X (12c @ 4.7GHz); 64GB DDR4 RAM (@1,333MHz); Intel Arc A770 (31.0.101.4146) 16GB. Note that the files are named after the used GPU. The code used for the measurements is part of the SRTest module (see commit 17614cfb957b75460476f1f1b4a97f72ed0262c9 and following).
