Ambivalent coordination behavior of lithium aluminum hydride in electron transfer reactions

. Angewandte Chemie, 94 (2): 150--151 (1982)

Abstract

ESR data indicated that pyrazine reacts with LiAlH4 to form the pyrazine anion radical, which coordinates with 2 Li+ ions. Similar reaction of quinoxaline and 4,4'-bipyridine gives anion radicals which coordinate with 2 H2Al+ ions. on SciFinder(R)
