The focus is on the design of the graphical user interface (GUI) to enhance accessibility for both healthcare professionals and patients. The proposal suggests a three-dimensional digital human model as the basis for organizing and retrieving medical documents, integrating visual and chronological aspects. Additionally, the paper explores the potential benefits of incorporating personal health data, addressing data access separation concerns for users and promoting interdisciplinary information exchange. A digital workplace\r\ndesign can support value-adding and ability-appropriate employment. In\r\nthe early planning phase, digital human models can be used for ergonomic and\r\neconomicworkplace design.However, fewdigital human models allowthe consideration\r\nof individual abilities and age-related change to enable ability-appropriate\r\nwork design. On the example of the design of a production area including logistic\r\nactivities, a procedure for designing ability-and age-appropriate workplaces is\r\npresented. The planning system ema Work Designer is used to simulate the work\r\nprocess under consideration of representative digital human models with different\r\ncharacteristics (anthropometry, flexibility, strength) related to age. The simulated\r\nprocess is assessed by accessibility, biomechanical analyses (e.g. EAWS) and\r\ntime analysis. As a result, it is shown that with the developed method using digital\r\nhuman models with different abilities it can be ensured that workers with and\r\nwithout restrictions canwork together in thework systems. By introducing various\r\ndesign measures, the ergonomic risk is reduced from high to moderate risk scores\r\nand the operational capability of all relevant employee groups is guaranteed. The\r\nexecution time was reduced significant.",

Seitens der kognitiven Anforderungen an den menschlichen Fahrer werden behördlicherseits seit langer Zeit verbindliche medizinische Anforderungen und Ausbildungskenntnisse vorausgesetzt. Die fortschreitende technische Entwicklung auf Seiten des Fahrzeugs mit einer einhergehenden Steigerung der Komplexität der Mensch-Maschine-Schnittstelle verlangt auf Seiten der Fahrzeugentwicklung seit geraumer Zeit nach dem Einsatz von Menschmodellen und Fahrsimulationen als effektive wissenschaftliche Methoden und Werkzeuge für eine nutzergerechte ergonomische Auslegung insbesondere zur Erfüllung der immer anspruchsvolleren perzeptiven Aufgaben des Fahrers. Durch den beginnenden Einzug höher automatisierter Fahrfunktionen entsteht auch die Anforderung eines Wechsels der verantwortlichen Fahrtätigkeit zwischen technischem Regler und menschlichem Fahrer. Speziell die angeforderte Fahrerübernahme durch den Menschen während der Fahrt, der sog. Take over Request, stellt eine große Herausforderung an den Fahrer und vor allem seinen spontanen Einstieg in einen schnell ablaufenden kognitiven Wahrnehmungs- und Entscheidungsprozess dar. Ein Automobilhersteller muss sich mit diesem Anspruch an seine Nutzer und Kunden detailliert auseinandersetzen. Dazu sind neue Fähigkeiten von kognitiven Menschmodellen als geeignete Methoden und Werkzeuge erforderlich.\r\n\r\n\r\nControlling a road vehicle is a challenging human control task. On the part of the cognitive demands on the human driver, binding medical requirements and training knowledge have been assumed by the authorities for a long time. The progressive technical development on the vehicle side with an accompanying increase in the complexity of the human-machine interface has for some time demanded the use of human models and driving simulations as effective scientific methods and tools for a user-friendly ergonomic design on the vehicle development side, in particular to fulfil the increasingly demanding perceptive tasks of the driver. The incipient introduction of highly automated driving functions also creates the requirement for an alternation of the responsible driving activity between the technical controller and the human driver. In particular, the request for the human driver to take over while driving, the so-called take-over request, poses a great challenge to the driver and, above all, to his or her spontaneous entry into a rapidly running cognitive perception and decision-making process. A car manufacturer must deal with this demand on its users and customers in detail. This requires new capabilities of cognitive human models as appropriate methods and tools.",
