         "pages": "1--5","abstract": "In this paper a novel modeling approach for the envelope dynamics of a 1s2p compensated wireless power transfer system (WPT) in inductive electrically excited synchronous machine (iEESM) applications is proposed. The proposed method simplifies the representation of the rectifier and load by modeling them as an equivalent impedance on the AC side. For this system the differential equations are derived and a state-space representation is formulated. By applying the state-space averaging method the envelope dynamics can be modeled. To incorporate the non-linearities of the system, a Quasi-Linear Parameter Varying (Quasi-LPV) framework is utilized, enabling accurate dynamic envelope behavior modeling across varying operating conditions. Validation against circuit simulations demonstrates the model's accuracy.",

         "abstract": "Rack-and-pinion drives are the preferred option in the machine tool sector when long ranges of motion and high loads are\r\ninvolved. However, their shortcomings particularly include defciencies in the achievable positioning and path accuracy. The\r\nbacklash as one of the main issues is well described in the literature and numerous solutions to reduce its negative efects\r\nexist. In contrast, there is a lack of literature regarding the scientifc and systematic analysis of the transmission errors in\r\nrack-and-pinion drives. In this paper, the displacements originating in the drive train of a system with industrial components\r\nare measured under diferent operating conditions. The observed transmission errors are thoroughly analyzed in no-load\r\noperation and their sources are discussed. Subsequent investigations show signifcant load-dependent alterations of the\r\ntransmission errors and direction-dependent characteristics, the causes of which are explained. It is shown, that transmission errors negatively afect the path accuracy of position controlled drives, which is amplifed by excitation of the machine\r\nstructure in certain operating conditions. To address this issue, diferent error compensation concepts are presented.",

To compensate displacements simplified thermal FE simulation models are developed, with which compensating calculations will be carried out online in the NC control computer in future (software in the loop). To increase the accuracy experimental tests are conducted on the machine components of the machine tool and compared with FE simulations. The experimental comparison forms the basis for exact simulation models, which are reduced in their \r\ncomplexity though, to subsequently be able to make quick predictions for temperature compensation. \r\nThis paper describes the thermal investigation on the machine tool component of ball screws as well as the thermal FE model for comparing the heat transfer parameters to be examined.",

         "pages": "428--431","abstract": "This paper presents the findings of experiments done to increase the accuracy of a fully constrained cable-driven parallel robot with 8 cables and 6 degrees of freedom. Measurements were conducted using a Laser Tracker in 3 dof and the position accuracy mapped. Measurements were performed in a grid with 1920 points. From the measurement data distortion to the actual desired position is measured and using a linear approximation subsequent trajectories are compensated for any systematic errors. On an example robot, this black box correction brought an average improvement from 10.6 mm distance to the desired point to 2.47 mm distance from the desired point. This is a significant improvement m accuracy.",
