{"815a962ba37b6d6955f4bd6afdb05d3adbashir":{"DOI":"","ISBN":"","ISSN":"","URL":"","abstract":"We present a high-efficiency resonant diffraction grating-waveguide structure (RD-GWS) designed as a pulse compressor grating for high-power chirped-pulse amplification (CPA) laser systems operating at 2 µm wavelengths. The design achieves > 99 % theoretical diffraction efficiency across a 42 nm bandwidth centered at 2050nm and demonstrates good tolerance to fabrication variations. The estimated theoretical laser-induced damage threshold exceeds 0.75 J/cm² for 500 fs pulses. The fabricated sample achieved a measured diffraction efficiency of 97%, which, to the best of our knowledge, is the highest value reported to date for a 2 µm pulse compressor grating.
