A review with 10 refs. discusses the stabilization of Cu(PPh3)2+ by 3,6-bis(2-pyridyl)-1,2,4,5-tetrazine radical anion (L) and 4,7-phenanthroline-5,6-semidione (Q) as Cu(PPh3)22L+ (I) and Cu(PPh3)22Q+, resp., and of CuPh2P(CH2)6PPh2+ by Me3COC(O)NNC(O)OCMe3.bul. (Z) as CuPh2P(CH2)6PPh22Z (II). The crystal structures of I and II as BF4- salts are discussed. on SciFinder(R)
