, , , and . X-Ray Structure Analysis Online, 20 (July-Sept): x127-x128 (2004)

Abstract

Cis-PdCl2Te(CH2CH2NMe2)2, synthesized by the reaction of Na2PdCl4 with Te(CH2CH2NMe2)2 in MeOH, contains an N,Te-chelated PdII center with a distorted square-planar coordination geometry. The Pd-Cl bond lengths are rather different at 2.2965(14) \AA (Cl trans to N) and 2.3888(12) \AA (Cl trans to Te); the Pd-Te bond is relatively short at 2.5078(6) \AA. One 2-dimethylaminoethyl substituent at Te remains uncoordinated. on SciFinder(R)
