Abstract

This repository contains simulation data and postprocessing scripts used in the publication: Schmidt, P., Jaust, A., Steeb, H., Schulte, M.: "Simulation of flow in deformable fractures using a quasi-Newton based partitioned coupling approach". Computational Geosciences (2022). doi:10.1007/s10596-021-10120-8. The three cases presented in the paper are stored in subdirectories that contain the used meshes and geometry information as well as other files needed such as configuration files or solver scripts. You will retrieve this data structure after downloading and decompressing the archives. You can see the structure of directories in the web interface of this dataset when you change the Change View option to Tree. Most bigger chunks of this repository are compressed using tar and Zstandard to ensure minimum size of the compressed files while ensuring good decompressing speed. For easier decompressing of all (downloaded) archives we provide a bash script decompress-archives.sh that additionally relies on Linux tools (such as find). The script will decompress all files ending with tar.zst. Further information on the dataset, the solvers, its structure, scripts, and how to decompress it, can be found in the included README.md file.
