Abstract
The following contribution discusses the results of a recently implemented workshop concept in architectural education. Following an experimental approach towards the exploration of new technologies within an interdisciplinary setting, students are encouraged to develop innovative ideas from a variety of subject areas not necessarily linked to architecture, and to explore their application and opportunities in an architectural con-text. A selection of resulting projects is presented along with a discussion of the benefits of the educational approach.
